THE AWARDS

     Throughout its history, L. J. Machine Works, Inc. has been recognized for its accomplishments.  While being a certified
supplier of precision machine parts, L. J. Machine Works, Inc. has been awarded several plaques for its excellence in high
quality performance, on-time delivery, and high-compliance level.

     In 1998, L. J. Machine Works, Inc. was recognized for its extraordinary global service as a direct shipmet supplier.  On a
personal level, Lonnie Jones, the president, has received many individual awards.  In February of 1980, Mr. Jones was
presented an ``Excellence in Business Award" from the Association of Black Social Workers.  Furthermore, in 1983, the
Houston Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. presented Mr. Jones with the ``Business
Achievement Award" for his outstanding business achievements.

     In addition, in 1994, The World Youth Foundation presented Lonnie Jones the ``Young Country Award" in recognition of 
outstanding and devoted service to our youth.  Moreover, in May of 1996, Lonnie Jones received a 25th Anniversary    
Award from his empoyees in honor and appreciation of his positive commitment in dedicated leadership, devoted services,
and outstanding achievement in business endeavors.
